Can I use this tool? You can use this form if:
You purchased or leased a new vehicle from a dealership in Massachusetts
You purchased or leased the vehicle in the last year
The vehicle has less than 15,000 miles on it
You have been to the dealship 3 times for repairs or unable to use it for 15 days
Your vehicle is still not fixed
Before you start Before you get started, gather:
Your vehicle information (year, make, model, VIN)
Contact information of the dealership where you purchased the vehicle
The dates you have taken the vehicle to be repaired
Any records or receipts of work done to your car by the dealer
Details of the problems your vehicle has given you
When you are finished, you will need to:
Keep a copy of the letter for yourself
Send a copy of the letter to the dealership. They will have 7 business days to respond.
